As we step into 2025, we pause to reflect on 2024—a year overflowing with blessings, growth, and moments of grace. We’re reminded of the words from Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” This verse beautifully mirrors the path we’ve walked this past year—one marked by hope, growth, and countless blessings.
A Year of Expansion and Connection
2024 began with a resounding note of encouragement when the City of Chicago awarded us a grant to expand Essential Elements Chicago. This grant reaffirmed our mission and propelled us forward with a renewed sense of purpose. With this support, we welcomed a talented new back-of-house team member, Renee, and together, we worked tirelessly to serve you better.
Shipping the highest number of packages since launching our website was another milestone. This accomplishment speaks to the love and loyalty of our incredible customers, who have embraced shopping with us both in-store and online.
Finding Beauty in the Unexpected
This year brought exciting discoveries, including new brands like Cotton Lani, Zilberman, Ariatta, Lavish Jewelry and a few other designers. These finds were a beautiful reminder that blessings often appear when least expected, enriching our boutique with fresh creativity and style.
Our biggest “12 Days of Christmas” event ever tested our endurance, with a few hiccups along the way, but it left us smiling and grateful for the joy it brought to you—our cherished community.

Our trunk shows brought together a mix of beloved, legacy artisans and fresh faces, adding depth and diversity to the artistry we showcase. These events, coupled with the support and enthusiasm of our Mavens, encapsulate what makes Essential Elements a space of fashion, funk, and fun.
