Food. Culture. Creativity. Black Excellence.

More than a cookbook, Black Power Kitchen is a bold celebration of Black food, culture, history, and the power of bringing people together around the table.

Created by Ghetto Gastro, the groundbreaking culinary collective from the Bronx, this visually stunning book blends 75 mostly plant-based recipes with powerful storytelling, vibrant photography, art, and conversations about heritage, identity, and community.

From inventive takes on familiar comfort foods to dishes inspired by the African diaspora, every page celebrates the richness and creativity of Black culinary traditions. Along the way, readers discover how food can nourish more than the body—it can preserve history, inspire change, and empower communities.

With its striking graphic cover and beautiful photography, Black Power Kitchen is just as compelling displayed on a coffee table as it is opened in the kitchen.

A wonderful gift for food lovers, art enthusiasts, and anyone who appreciates Black culture and creativity.
